13. Notes on Google Analytics

The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (+49 40-80-81-79-000, support-de@google.com). This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus analyze a user's activities across devices. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Google Analytics uses text files (so-called cookies, see above), which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. Sessions and campaigns are terminated after a certain period of time. By default, sessions are terminated after 30 minutes of inactivity and campaigns after 6 months. The campaign time limit can be a maximum of two years.

More information on terms of use and data protection can be found at https://www.google.de/analytics/terms/de.html.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. If a user visits certain pages of an AdWords customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers.
